The Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht the Netherlands can become one of the best management schools in the world.
From that point of view, the current situation is of the same difference in magnitude as a fake tomato is from an organic
one. In 2006, one student could not complete a simple subtraction in front of the class.
It can offer up to 30 full scholarships (as full as a scholarship can get) for an MBA program. That is the single, most
distinctive advantage any management program in the world may wish for. Despite enjoying such an advantage, the MSM MBA program
is not ranked in the Netherlands, let alone by other ranking institutions around the world. The fingers of one hand would
be enough to count the number of companies in the Netherlands (again, not around the world) that list the program in their
online employment application forms.
In 2006, only two representatives from companies visited the school. The simply presented the companies and were not in
any way on an HR mission. The career office at the school, has one or two career leaflets which are at least 2 years old.
