MSM and Hotel Randwyck are more "connected" than most people know. MSM has given a loan to Hotel Randwyck or is involved at least in a similar sort of relationship. This is the main reason why students in general are required to stay there. Students on a scholarship by NUFFIC are not only required, they MUST stay there. This is in conflict with NUFFIC rules and a decision by the MSM board which gives students the option to live elsewhere.

Having in mind that the MBA program at MSM is a 1 year one, there are students that are given the keys to one room literally as another fresh student enters. Obviously the room is far from fresh. The cleaning of the rooms is conducted once a week. This is included in the price of 450 euros/month which is taken from the scholarship. Now, the type of cleaning service provided is far from decent and students have continuosly complained about it to the administration of the school and that of the hotel. On a last but not least note, for a price of 450 euros/month, students can get some really good rooms/appartments in Maastricht.
